Mrs. Tew and I spent the day in meetings but we really would like to be in our classroom getting ready for all of you. We have a big crew this year. Fifty-eight First Graders and counting. We are up 15 from last year. We look forward to seeing all of you on Thursday.

Recommended supplies for the first day
1 backpack without wheels
1- 12 pack of #2 pencils
1 large box of tissues
4 glue sticks
1 large bottle hand sanitizer
2 boxes of crayon 24 count
2 dry erase markers- fine point
2 composition notebooks (marble notebooks)
Wish List
If you would like to make donation throughout the year we will need the following items :
Ziploc bags-varying sizes
Paper plates-the cheap kind for art projects
Brown/ or white paper lunch sacks
Page Protectors- the non-glare kind

Welcome students and families! This will be the site of our class blog. This is a new adventure for us but it should be a fun way to share our day with you.
Letters to students
So I couldn't sleep tonight so I decided to work on Back to School letters. Hopefully they will go out today. I have included the web site for this blog so maybe there will be comments and I can stop talking to myself.
Carpet???
Started moving things into the classroom only to be told "Stop!" The carpet came in pieces so the colors don't match. Kind of stripy actually. Anyway they are figuring out what to do so classroom setup in on hold. I will take pictures later today to post.
